About me#
I'm Joe Schlesinger. I build things (mostly robots, sometimes vehicles) and I started a section to share opionions I'm having. Mostly about software/hardware robots.
I made Sparki, a robot for education, and Hexy the Hexapod, a hexapod kit I launched on Kickstarter fully expecting nobody to want one. Together they accidentally became ArcBotics: a few dozen kits turned into tens of thousands shipped around the world, and I quit my job shortly after Hexy's launch.
I've since spent most of my career building the robots that build the robots that build the robots.
For the last couple of years, I've spent most of my time shepherding gaggles of LLMs. Different kind of robots I guess.
What's here#
- Opinions: I got'em
- Projects: build logs and photographs of robots, vehicles, whatever is on the bench and I bother to photograph
- Travels: places I've been, with pictures.
Design#
This site is based off of that of Hi-Sincerity Microelectronics Corp.. That name just always gave me a chuckle.
Email is best: joe@schlesinger.io. I'm also on LinkedIn and GitHub, and there's an RSS feed if you'd rather subscribe.
